Edin Dzeko
Edin Dzeko is not considered one of the two first choice strikers at Manchester City, with Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo typically preferred up front.
Still, due to injuries to both Aguero and Negredo this season, the Bosnian has had his fair share of opportunities, and has often taken them, scoring six goals and providing one assist in his 12 Premier League starts.
Dzeko often comes on as a substitute to help Manchester City see out games, but is less clinical from the bench, with only one of his goals coming when not starting the game.
At 27 years of age, he ought to be approaching the prime of his career, and will want to be at a club where he is fully appreciated.
However, a concern for Wenger will be that the only top half of the table teams Dzeko has scored against are Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur, with the rest of his eleven strikes in all competitions coming against comparative minnows.
