Diego Costa
Diego Costa has emerged as one of the hottest properties in Europe thanks to some brilliantly prolific displays up front for Atletico Madrid.
24 goals and four assists in 24 La Liga and UEFA Champions League matches is a phenomenal return, and along with Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and Bayern Munich’s Mario Mandzukic, Costa is perhaps the hardest working centre forward at the top of the game at present.
The Brazilian born star’s goals have almost solely come with his feet though – eighteen with his right and six with his left, and just a single header.
That may be something of a concern if Arsene Wenger wants to sign a target man as an alternate to Olivier Giroud up front, but the 25 year-old Costa’s £32 million buyout clause is likely to be well within the Gunners’ budget.
