Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United have been provided with extra encouragement in the pursuit of their coveted target Juan Cuadrado.
Reports in the press have revealed that Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella has said that the player will be allowed full freedom to make a decision on his future.
Montella told Sky Sport Italia: “Should he stay, it will be good, otherwise, we will seek to replace him. We need to evaluate the player’s aspirations and, above all, if there is a club out there that can pay what he is truly worth.”
The boss’ words indicate that the Viola may not try to block the player’s transfer, should he decide on a move to another club.
The Colombian has been a top target for the aforementioned English sides for quite a while now, with a number of other clubs like Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Barcelona also believed to be interested in taking him aboard. The player’s performances for his country in the recently concluded FIFA World Cup has only helped raise his market value, with his suitors believed to have become more desperate to land him now.
