Arsenal target tells team-mates he’s leaving Southampton
Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has reportedly told his club team-mates that he will be leaving for a move elsewhere this summer, according to the Daily Star.
The 24-year-old is currently on World Cup duty with France, but will be heading home shortly after his side’s 1-0 quarter-final defeat to Germany, and seemingly has no intentions to return to the St Mary’s Stadium, putting both Arsenal and Tottenham on alert for his signature.
With Mikel Arteta recently linked with Athletic Bilbao, it could be that Schneiderlin would be a like-for-like replacement for the Spaniard in the Gunners midfield.
