Dimitar Berbatov, 32 (Fulham)
Dimitar Berbatov signalled his intention to leave Fulham in January earlier in December, unsatisfied at the prospect of battling relegation with the Cottagers.
“I don’t usually speculate as nobody knows what will happen in January but what I can tell you is he [Berbatov] is not happy at Fulham,” said the striker’s agent Emil Dantchev to the Guardian.
“He would like, if possible, to find another option.”
“I cannot comment [on whether there have been any approaches] but the priority is to find a solution to stay in England,” he said.
Berbatov would likely jump at the chance to join a team as illustrious as Arsenal – despite his Tottenham Hotspur heritage – but the Bulgarian may not get the opportunity.
Arsene Wenger has regularly stated how impressed he is with Olivier Giroud’s work rate, and Berbatov does not provide the same running.
