Arsenal trio and Chelsea captain John Terry make it into the alternative PFA Team of the Year

It’s been a brilliant year for the Pole and putting some anomalies aside – such as the heavy defeats to Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City – the goalkeeper has been fantastic.

There have been a number of fine keeping performances this term, with Cardiff City’s David Marshall, Vito Mannone of Sunderland and Everton No.1 Tim Howard also standout performers, but for us Szcznesy edges it.
