The Gunners’ excellent defence has probably suffered in nominations due to a few heavy defeats, but make not mistake that this has been a fine campaign at the back for the north Londoners.
Along with central defensive partner Per Mertesacker the duo have brought a stability at the back for Arsene Wenger’s men that hasn’t been seen for some time.
