Wenger not holding back in his pursuit of an enforcer.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is up to some serious transfer business this summer according to various media reports.
The Frenchman has recently sealed the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona, but the Gunners’ spending spree is nowhere near complete.
The Telegraph reports that Wenger is now after the German enforcer duo of Sami Khedira and Lars Bender, who have both been scouted by the North Londoners for quite some time now.
It is believed that Wenger is very serious about landing at least one of the two highly rated midfielders as the anchorman at the club, while he is also set to land two new right-backs in Mathieu Debuchy and Javier Manquillo.
Arsenal have not had a specialist defensive midfielder since Alex Song left for Barca in 2012 and their pursuit for another holding player is seen as extremely essential to the club’s ambitions next season.
It is clear from the North London club’s endeavours that the Gunners have cash in the bank to spend, and it looks like an exciting summer ahead for their fans, who are longing for the club to sign top players consistently.
