Arjen Robben v Kieran Gibbs
In the absence of the injured Franck Ribery, Bayern’s most potent attacking threat will likely come from the right wing in the form of ex-Chelsea star Arjen Robben. The Dutchman is not difficult to work out: he is direct and favours cutting in on his left foot (in fact, he is almost totally one footed). But Robben is lightning quick so even the best full-backs struggle to prevent him completing his favoured move. Gibbs is likely to start at left back on Wednesday and the young Englishman is certain for a tough evening. The key for Arsenal will be to double on up Robben; if he gets one-on-one with Gibbs, things could get messy.
