The Gunners take on the brilliant Bundesliga outfit in Tuesday’s Champions League tie…
Team news:
French holding midfielder Mathieu Flamini looks likely to miss out after picking up concussion against Norwich City at the weekend. Aaron Ramsey was rested at the weekend, although had to play 60 minutes due to Flamini’s injury, and will start from the outset on Tuesday evening.
With Flamini out, Mikel Arteta will play an anchoring midfield role, allowing the in form Wilshere to combine with Ramsey and get forward from the middle of the park.
Impressive Spanish playmaker Santi Cazorla made his return against the Canaries, and will likely dovetail with the brilliant Mesut Ozil in the attacking midfield positions once again. If French boss Arsene Wenger reckons two games in such a short space of time is too much for the playmaker, Tomas Rosicky may start instead, with Theo Walcott still two weeks away from returning.
Olivier Giroud will definitely start up top, with Nicklas Bendtner currently the only fit option in reserve for Wenger.
