Arsenal take on Fenerbahce in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League playoff, leading 3-0 from the first leg.
After a woeful start to the season against Aston Villa, the performances against both Fenerbahce and Fulham in the past week have brought optimism back to Emirates Stadium, and with the comfortable lead the Gunners ought to be able to relax against the Turkish side.
Manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that England international playmaker Jack Wilshere will start the match as he bids to find full fitness, and the talented 21 year-old will be part of a strong line-up that is also likely to feature Laurent Koscielny, who has recovered quicker than expected from a terrible cut to the face in the reverse fixture.
Wenger does not plan to make too many changes as he attempts to retain the momentum that has been built up by the north London club over the past few days, but may hand appearances to promising youngsters such as Serge Gnabry and Gedion Zelalem from the bench.
Arsenal should make it through the game comfortably, but it is worth noting: Fenerbahce can’t possibly be any worse than the first leg.
