The Cameroonian centre-half has played every minute of every match domestically and in Europe so far this term, and is the rock in the Marseille defence. He builds up attacks from the back with short, incise passes into midfield, but is a powerful tackler, and strong in the air. Olivier Giroud will be in for a tough evening if N’Koulou is at his best.
