Wenger decides to play the youngster ahead of Giroud.
It’s arguably the biggest game of Arsenal’s season as they face Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium.
With the Gunners out of the Champions League and having dropped off the pace in the Premier League, this competition is now the club’s only realistic chance to end their nine-year trophy drought.
Manager Arsene Wenger has named a strong side to face the Latics, with the only real surprise being Yaya Sanogo starting upfront ahead of Olivier Giroud.
Wenger had already confirmed that Lukasz Fabianski would start ahead of national compatriot Wojciech Szczesny in goal.

Wigan’s side contains six players that lifted this trophy last year and having knocked Manchester City out in the quarter-finals they are likely to take some confidence into this clash as well.
