Arsene Wenger has handed a start to teenage midfielder Jeff Rene-Adelaide for Arsenal’s Emirates Cup clash against Wolfsburg this afternoon.
Wenger described the 17-year-old as “something special” after he made his senior debut in the 6-0 thrashing of Lyon yesterday.

The French prodigy will play in an attacking midfield three also consisting of Jack Wilshere and Mesut Ozil – the only player to start both games.
With Danny Welbeck out with a knee problem which will sideline him beyond the start of the Premier League season, Theo Walcott is given another opportunity as the lone striker.
