The Gunners already have a number of big-name attacking options at the club, with Arsene Wenger signalling a change in approach in the transfer market by bringing in the likes of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck in the last few years.
Still, Arsenal also seem to want to add Reus to that extensive list of attacking midfielders, despite the Mail tipping Real Madrid as the favourites to snap up the German international ahead of next season.
Real have a good track record of bringing in the big-name signings they want, and appear to also be keen on landing Reus, 25, as part of their plans to strengthen in the next transfer window.
It may be that Reus is being targeted as a possible replacement for Gareth Bale, with the same article mentioning Chelsea’s strong interest in the Welshman.
