Then just a teenager, the Brazilian was still out on loan from Arsenal in Spain, and featured for Levante in a game against Real Zaragoza that has become the centre of match fixing allegations recently.
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera and Atletico Madrid captain Gabi are also implicated in the investigation, that has been casting a dark shadow over Spanish football this season.
