The Gunners are excited about 18-year-old wonderkid Gedion Zelalem, but with no reps to give him in league action, Arsenal have decided to loan him out for some quality minutes.
According to the Metro, Zelalem has been loaned out to Rangers FC in Scotland for the remainder of the season.
Zelalem, who represents the United States on the Under-20 team, had a sensational performance for the US in a friendly against New Zealand back in June, recording an assist en route to a 4-0 victory.
The Metro noted, however, that Gedion Zelalem will not make his debut for the club against Hibernian in the Scottish Championship.
Rangers FC have made it a critical part of their transfer plans to acquire Premier League talent, recently sealing the deal for a pair of Tottenham Hotspur studs in Nathan Oduwa and Dominic Ball.
Zelalem has made two appearances for the Gunners since 2013, one in the 2013-14 FA Cup and one in the 2014-15 Champions League.
