Both Arsenal and Tottenham have already been busy in the transfer market this summer. The Gunners have acquired some world-class talent to add to their squad, while Spurs have added to their record-breaking spree of this time last year.
So Fanatix has decided to pit the two London rivals against each other, with each position going head-to-head to determine which has the better starting XI.
Goalkeeper
Wojciech Szczesny: Has improved hugely over the last couple of season, and is no long the shaky, unreliable goalkeeper he once was. His progress was rewarded with the golden glove last season – 8/10.
Hugo Lloris: Undoubtedly a world class goalkeeper, the Frenchman is among the very best stoppers in the world. If he honours his new contract and stays put this summer, he would get the nod in a North London XI – 9/10.
