Check it out below, it’s not actually that bad.
GK – Ryan Huddart
Most Gunners fans – never mind anyone else – could be forgiven for not having heard of this 17-year-old goalkeeper until Wednesday night, where due to injury and suspension the Englishman was named on the bench for the Champions League clash with Anderlecht.
RB – Carl Jenkinson
May not have truly impressed at the Emirates Stadium just yet and was loaned to West Ham United this season as a result, but the 22-year-old could still prove those doubters wrong.
CB – Calum Chambers
Made the £16m switch from Southampton over the summer and has since been impressing in North London, playing a bigger part than perhaps many expected due to a string of injuries.
CB – Isaac Hayden
A 19-year-old who is on the cusp of Wenger’s first team having impressed in the youth side and has represented England at every level up until the Under-20s to date.
LB – Kieran Gibbs
An established figure in the starting XI and having had faith put in him by his manager the left-back has blossomed and even looks to be getting back into the Three Lions setup under Roy Hodgson.
