Fans of the Gunners may have to wait a little longer to see the German in action.
There is some disappointing news for Arsenal fans as club record signing Mesut Ozil may miss the Premier League clash with Sunderland on Saturday due to illness.

Defender Per Mertesacker is also suffering with the problem and is definitely out of the match, which will serve as a further headache to manager Arsene Wenger.
The Frenchman is currently having to deal with an ever growing lists of injuries, with Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski all currently sidelined.
Club captain Thomas Vermaelen is in the squad, although the Belgian fell out-of-favour with Wenger last term as the 63-year-old preferred to play Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny as a central defensive partnership.
Yet the news that will be bothering most Gunners supporters is that superstar Ozil may not be in action for a while longer.
It is closing in on being two weeks since the north London club bought the 24-year-old from Real Madrid, but due to the international break the attacking midfielder has been away from the Emirates Stadium.
Much of the optimism around the side has come about since the arrival of Ozil and many think that the Germany international can inspire Arsenal to win their first piece of silverware in over eight years.
