Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil was pictured committing a footballing sin during their 2-0 away win at Monaco, in which the side was dumped out of the Champions League, as he swapped shirts at half-time.

The former Real Madrid man was seen exchanging jerseys with Monaco man and first-leg goalscorer Geoffrey Kondogbia as the two teams went back to the dressing rooms after the first 45.
Arsenal were leading the game 1-0 following Olivier Giroud’s 36th minute strike into the roof of the net. Arsenal needed to win the game by three goals to have any chance of going through to the quarter finals, though they could only muster two with Aaron Ramsey coming off the bench to score in the second half.
Having lost the first leg 3-1 in a horror show at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal had too much to do at the Stade Louis II and bowed out at the last-16 stage for the fifth year in a row.
