The man with the extra yard in his head played for Arsenal’s two greatest rivals, Tottenham and Manchester United, during his prime and enjoyed some epic battles with the Gunners, scoring eight times. The England forward scored in North London derby victories back when Spurs were good in the 90s, before netting in United’s 6-1 thrashing of Arsenal in 2006. Sheringham added his last goal against Arsenal for Portsmouth in 2003.
