Arsenal head to Monaco on mission impossible aiming to do something never done in Champions League history, and only once in the history of European football – overturn a 3-1 first-leg defeat away from home.
A disastrous performance in the first leg has left Arsenal needing a miracle in order to progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time since 2010.

Arsenal rival Man City for signing of £15m Premier League defender
You won’t BELIEVE which ex-Arsenal player has been made a Lord!
The task is made even more difficult given that the Gunners are up against the best defensive side in the competition, with Monaco keeping three clean sheets in their three home games in the group stages.
Here is how Arsenal could line-up:
GK) David Ospina
The Colombian remains Arsenal’s keeper in the Champions League and Premier League with Wojciech Szczesny doing little to stake a claim for a return to the team after his performance against Manchester United.
RB) Hector Bellerin
Bellerin is the undisputed no.1 right back for Arsene Wenger in the absence of Mathieu Debuchy through injury. His place in the team is even more likely given that he was rested against West Ham in the Premier League.
CB) Per Mertesacker
Arsenal’s defensive contribution will be vital on Tuesday night as a clean sheet is as important as scoring the three goals needed progress.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
The club’s best centre back had a horror show in the first leg and will no doubt be looking to rectify that this time around.
LB) Nacho Monreal
Arguably Arsenal’s most consistent performer this season, his display at Old Trafford finally made everyone stand up and take notice.
