Arsenal have a number of players capable of playing intricate, zipped through-balls in the final third.
In terms of sheer technical ability, Arsenal’s playmakers are exceptional – but they still haven’t managed to maintain their early season title charge.

5) Jack Wilshere – 1.4 key passes per match
The Englishman’s season has been curtailed with injuries, and there’s an argument that he isn’t filling the wonderful potential he showed when he burst onto the scene as a teenager. His ability though has never been questioned, and from central midfield, Wilshere has zipped 1.4 key passes per Premier League outing.
With Aaron Ramsey fit though, Wilshere may have to content himself with a role on the left – as it’s unsure whether the two young midfielders provide a solid enough defensive base in the centre when paired together.
