Both the Gunners and Manchester United have been on the trail of the £25m-rated Chilean for the better part of the past year, and reports in Italy even went as far to say that a deal had already been agreed to take him to London.
However, speaking on Wednesday morning, Wenger set the record straight over the speculation linking him with the 28-year-old.
Wenger also kept his distance on admitted as to whether he would even make a move this summer by saying: “Yes, I like Vidal. Are we in transfer mode? I say no.”
Vidal has been one of Juve’s main men again this season, helping them to another Serie A title and playing his part in getting them to the Champions League final, where they will take on La Liga giants Barcelona.
