Gunners set to conclude a deal to sign Villarreal centre-back.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the Gunners are close to completing a deal to sign Brazilian central defender Gabriel Paulista from La Liga outfit Villarreal, report the Express, with the Frenchman suggesting that the move could even be completed tomorrow.

Villarreal confirmed themselves, ahead of their meeting with Levante in La Liga last night, that a deal had been reached in principle and Wenger has rubberstamped the imminent transfer in his post-match comments after Arsenal beat Brighton 3-2 in the FA Cup fourth round.
The former Vitoria star has been one of the standout performers for Villarreal this season as they challenge for a return to the Champions League in La Liga – but Wenger appears to have confirmed the fact that he will not be featuring at the El Madrigal again:

“It will probably be tomorrow.”
