Wenger says he will work “night and day” to bring in new arrivals.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that he will work “night and day” to ensure that he can add to his Emirates Stadium squad this January, report the Telegraph, after Mathieu Debuchy’s injury once again left the Gunners short of numbers at the back.

The injury to the Frenchman leaves the Gunners with only teenagers to pick from at right back and, whilst Wenger indicated his desire to give Calum Chambers and Hector Bellerin their chance, he confirmed that the club would be actively involved in the January transfer market:
“We have [Calum] Chambers and we have [Héctor] Bellerín, who is coming on well, and I want to give them a chance as well, but of course we are in the market like many other clubs.”
“We work really hard morning until late night to try to get one or two players in.”
