Giroud’s has been the Gunners first choice central striker this season, bagging 13 goals and seven assists, but Wenger is reportedly unhappy with his compatriot’s recent form and off-field misdemeanours.
The former Montpellier man sneaked model Celia Kay into his room in the team hotel in the early hours of a match-day earlier this season and was exposed by the Sun.
Giroud apologised to his wife, Wenger and his team-mates via Twitter and was rumoured to have been disciplined by the club.
With Nicklas Bendtner almost certain to leave on a free transfer in the summer and youngster Yaya Sanogo having failed to score all season, it would be a brave move to sell Giroud unless Wenger is confident of having at least two replacements lined-up.
