CB – Vincent Kompany, Manchester City and Belgium
As previously mentioned the Belgians have not played in this competition since 2002 and although Kompany is slightly older than Courtois, he is still not that old.
As captain of City and having just helped them to their second Premier League title in three years, the 28 year-old is now considered among the best centre-backs in the world.
