Arsenal snubbed as midfielder set to sign for Liverpool this summer
Argentinian presenter Hernán Feler, a journalist for DirecTV Sports in the South American country and radio station Radio Mitre, says ‘everything is closed’ of the deal and that Vidal will partner Chile teammate Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates.
Después de la Copa América de #Chile, se hará oficial la llegada de Arturo Vidal al #Arsenal. Está todo cerrado. Será compañero de Aléxis.

It’s unclear how much credence to give Feler as he is an unknown reporter and source in Europe.
With his 110k followers perhaps it suggest some kind of reliability, although some fans were quick to dismiss his claims as false and say Feler has a reputation for these kind of grandiose but ultimately unsubstantiated rumours.
However, Pedro Hernández, a strange source of transfer information given he lists himself as a commercial engineer on Twitter, also backs up these claims in a move that might have Arsenal fans thinking this might just be a possibility as Hernandez was one of the first to confirm Alexis Sanchez’s move to north London last summer.
He says Vidal has a pre-agreement with Arsenal to join the Premier League from the start of next season and will sign a four-year contract at the club.

Vidal has been superb for Juventus during their Champions League run that saw them defeat Real Madrid over two legs and looks to have regained much of his former verve and form that saw him continually linked with the likes of Manchester United last year.
