Monaco haven’t given up on luring Arsene Wenger to the principality.
French Ligue 1 runners-up AS Monaco remain hopeful of luring Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger back to the club in the future, report the Mail, despite the Frenchman having signed a new deal at the Emirates Stadium this summer despite having met with officials from the principality club.

Monaco officials reportedly met with Wenger when the club traveled to North London to compete in the pre-season Emirates Cup tournament, beating the Gunners 1-0 courtesy of a Radamel Falcao goal, and hope that he will one day return to the club where he spent seven years, winning the French title and really making his name as a manager.
Wenger will feel that he still has a job to do at Arsenal, however, and will be keen to build on last season’s FA Cup victory this season, despite the Gunners having fallen well off the pace of Premier League pacesetters Chelsea.
