Stay at Real Madrid
Khedira could of course elect to stay at Real Madrid this summer. Sky Sports reported that both he, and follow wantaway star Angel Di Maria, have rejected new deals with the club – but the German could yet decide to see out the final year of his contract and leave on a free next summer.
His role in the team will only be a bit-part one after the arrival of compatriot Toni Kroos, but the temptation of having a year to consider his options may outweigh the offer of an immediate move.
