Jores Okore, Defender – 7/10
Just about the only Villans defender who wasn’t a complete waste of time and space, Okore did his best and was a strong tackler who didn’t concede a foul the entire game in addition to suffering three fouls. Okore didn’t have the best performance of his career, but compared to everyone else on the team, the fact that he played a relatively cool game is worth praise.
Fabian Delph, Midfielder – 7/10
Despite an early yellow card Delph made it his business to get into the face of every Arsenal player who tried to take the ball away from him. And with a game-best 60 passes he certainly saw a lot of contact. Delph couldn’t do much in the second-half (much like everyone else), but he was just about the only Villan with the guts to try and go strike-for-strike with Arsenal.
