Meanwhile, there will be no Carles Gil, Jack Grealish or Jores Okore for Villa. They are recovering from ankle, hamstring and knee injuries respectively.
However, there is some good news for Tim Sherwood’s men, as Jordan Veretout, Micah Richards, Jordan Ayew, Jordan Amavi and Idrissa Gueye are expected to make their home debuts after impressing in last weekend’s 1-0 win at Bournemouth.
Villa have not won at home league game against United since 1995.
