Atletico would be interested in Fernando Torres if he didn’t cost them.
Atletico Madrid would be interested in bringing former striker Fernando Torres back to the club from Chelsea if his loan spell at AC Milan is cut short, reports Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague, but only if Chelsea do not want a fee for the £50 million man.

Torres began his career at Atletico and is known to be a fan of the club that he left to come to the Premier League and Liverpool, going on to play the best football of his career at Anfield and earning a controversial £50m move to Stamford Bridge.

It never quite worked out for the Spaniard in West London, however, and he was sent to AC Milan on a two-year loan deal this summer, but such is his lack of success in Serie A that it has been reported his loan deal could be cut short.
