Chelsea fans are often accused of being ‘plastic’ ‘glory-hunters’ but a recent study shows that the Blues have the best support in the entire Premier League – sort of.
The maths geeks at Sky Sports crunched the numbers to discover that Stamford Bridge had the lowest percentage of its seats left empty last season.
This is very impressive, considering that tickets at the Bridge are among the most expensive in Europe.
Manchester United’s Old Trafford, Liverpool’s Anfield, Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur’s White Hart Lane also feature in the top 10 best-filled grounds.
