The Australian cricket team has made a return to the Sydney Cricket Ground for the first time since the death of Phillip Hughes.
Hughes was fatally injured at the SCG whilst playing for South Australia against New South Wales in the Sheffield Shield in late November.
Five members of the Australia side – David Warner, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Brad Haddin and Shane Watson – were playing in the match when Hughes was struck in the back of the neck by short ball.
Australian skipper Steve Smith says the fourth Test will be a difficult one for many of the players.
“It’s going to be another emotional test match, and hopefully we can do the Hughes family proud by playing well again this week.”
A plaque in was erected in Hughes’ honour in the Australian dressing room at the SCG:
