Gold Coast hooker Matt Srama will remain at the Titans despite the Sydney Roosters announcing his signing last month.
The 23-year-old was reportedly back training with the Titans last week, even though the Roosters confirmed on November 20 that they had signed him on a one-year deal.
Titans assistant coach Terry Matterson confirmed Srama made a last minute decision to pull out of the Sydney move to remain on the Gold Coast.
“As far as I’m aware that’s where it is at the moment,” Matterson was quoted as saying by the Gold Coast Bulletin.
“Obviously there was a bit of a misunderstanding and things weren’t just quite sorted out. Matty had a bit of change of mind at the last moment.”
