The Argentine forward has been sidelined with a knee injury since early last month, and his side have had to endure a striker crisis in his absence.
His injury coincided with those of Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic, forcing Manuel Pellegrini to field a false nine in a number of games.
The Chilean manager was pleased to reveal that both Dzeko and Aguero would be returning to action soon, with Jovetic already back and firing.
