The Baltimore Ravens received a large bonus when it was announced that left tackle Eugene Monroe would be active for Saturday’s AFC Divisional Round game against the New England Patriots.
Monroe had been out the previous two games with an ankle injury, but he will return in a crucial game and enable Marshal Yanda to move back to right guard.
Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco continued to show his playoff prowess in a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Monroe’s return will only make his quest for a second Super Bowl easier.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network revealed Monroe’s status on Twitter.
