Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta missed the majority of last season with a hip injury. Unfortunately, he re-injured it and was carted off the field as a result.
The tight end was taken to a nearby hospital, and it is being speculated that this injury will be serious once again. If Pitta is to miss significant time, quarterback Joe Flacco will be missing a key weapon once again.
Pitta had three receptions for 12 yards before he left the game. Here is a tweet from Sports Illustrated’s official account announcing the Ravens tight end’s injury.
