The Detroit Lions faced the Buffalo Bills at home and blew a 14-0 lead to suffer a stunning loss after Bills kicker Dan Carpenter nailed a 58-yard field goal to win the game.
Although the Lions will not make excuses for their loss, there may be a culprit that is least partly to blame for the outcome of the game. A man was caught using a laser pointer and pointing it at the field, and he subsequently admitted to using it.
For his actions, he will have his 2014 Lions season tickets revoked and will be banned indefinitely from Ford Field.
Here is a tweet from the official Detroit Lions Twitter account confirming their banning decision.
