This isn’t the first time that the 53-year-old has been in the sports headlines for his hilarious antics, as there have been serious interviews discussing the Chicago Bulls’ chances to a gag-filled speech welcoming the NBA champions to the White House.
There is no denying that Obama is a huge basketball fan as well as being a sports fan in general, and he was up to his old tricks on Monday at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll event.
A number of players were invited to the event including new Hall of Fame member Dikembe Mutombo as well as Washington Wizards duo John Wall and Paul Pierce.
Wall discussed his time at the White House, and revealed that the US President has “the weirdest jump-shot release but he showed off today,” according to J. Michael of CSN Washington.
“He trash-talked Paul [Pierce] when he hit the game-winner. ‘I’m clutch. I’m clutch'”, he added.
While he may not be the most popular politician in the USA, Obama remains one of the most entertaining around and it is likely that Pierce was left to suck it up and get on the with the game as what else do you do when the President of the United State of America trash talks you?
