Having returned to the Nou Camp following his time at Arsenal, Fabregas endured a number of difficult years at his boyhood club. He became a scapegoat for the fans, and eventually decided it was time to return to the Premier League; this time with Chelsea.
The Spaniard has spoken out against his former side, claiming that they rely far too much on their talismanic star. He even went so far as to say that the other ten players in the team were merely passengers in Messi’s team.
“This season Barca are Messi and 10 others. Messi has saved his team on many occasions,” he said.
Fabregas seems happy at Chelsea, having settled in superbly for his second spell in England. He clearly has no regrets about leaving La Liga yet again, and seems confident of success at Stamford Bridge.
