Barcelona have set their sights on another top Manchester United target after completing the signing of Thomas Vermaelen, according to the Guardian.
The Catalan giants also want to add Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado to their squad after hinting that their summer transfer business is not yet over as they unveiled their latest arrival from Arsenal.
Vermaelen joins other big names such as Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic in moving to the Nou Camp this summer under a revamped squad under new manager Luis Enrique, and Cuadrado could be the next arrival as Barca hope to deliver another major blow to United’s transfer plans.
The Red Devils are known to be keen on signing new players in the wide positions, and the Colombian attacker has been among Louis van Gaal’s main priorities for much of this transfer window.
