Barcelona LEGEND Xavi enters talks with Qatari club over €10m-per-year contract
Barcelona stars Lionel Messi and Neymar could miss Champions League final
Xavi is set to end a 24-year association with the Catalan giants in signing a three year contract with Qatari club Al Sadd, following another Spanish footballing legend Raul when he left Real Madrid.
Spain international Koke has a £44 million (€60 million) release clause from Atletico Madrid, though Enrique believes he would be worth breaking the bank for to fill the hole left by Xavi.
The 23-year-old player was a key figure in Atleti’s La Liga winning side and has since gone on to represent his country 16 times, setting up their goal in the 1-0 win against Ukraine on Friday.
Influential midfielder Xavi will be sorely missed at the Nou Camp, having amassed nearly 500 league appearances in a hugely successful Barcelona team, winning seven La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies and two Champions Leagues.
