A quiet game for the left back going forward but considering he was contending with the likes of Benzema, Ronaldo and Bale barring down his wing that’s perhaps understandable.
The fact there was literally no service from the left says all you need to know about how effective he was at least in his defence duties.
CM: Javier Mascherano – 6
His antics following an innocent Ronaldo brush of the leg left a bad taste in the mouth despite a quite commanding and disciplined performance for the Argentine.
