New Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is set to make his long awaited debut for the club this weekend for their El Classico clash against Real Madrid, and he is already warming up for it by announcing that Lionel Messi is better than Cristiano Ronaldo, the Daily Mirror reports.

Despite moving to Barcelona in a £75million deal in the summer the Uruguayan superstar has two reasons for willing the Reds to success.
He still retains some loyalty towards the Merseyside club and will be rooting for them during their Champions League encounter with the Spaniards on Wednesday before unleashing himself on the defending European champions in his debut at the weekend.
And in getting in the mood for the game he said; “In my opinion Leo is better. I train and play with Leo every day and he surprises me every day. He is unique.
“Everybody knows what he has brought to Barcelona, what kind of world-class player he is.
“For me he is the best player in the world for what he has already done, and he’s still so young.”
