An overwhelming response sees him go through with it – with disastrous consequences.
WHAT happens when a baseball fan dares Twitter to make him run on the field during the MLB All-Star game?
It appears Twitter user @MasoneDylan was eager to find out.
Sitting in the crowd at today’s All-Star game, he issues a challenge to the Twitterverse: If his tweet was re-tweeted 1000 times, he would run on to the field.
In next to no time, he had his 1000, and despite pleas from his mother to renege on the bet, he went through with it.
Oh and the answer to the question above? You get a very rude welcome from security.
In the game, the American League team beat the National League 3-0, with Yankees star Mariano Rivera named MVP.
