Pep Guardiola says Bayern Munich star must decide on future soon
Man United want Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger
The German international is widely rumored to be headed to Manchester United, who is reportedly keen on signing the Bayern Munich star.
The 30-year-old is not showing his cards on these rumours, and he gave a curt answer when asked about it.
“I’m glad that you asked. I won’t comment on it,” Schweinsteiger said to ESPN FC.
Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola recently came out, saying that Schweinsteiger will have to decide on his future.
Schweinsteiger recently helped lead Bayern Munich to their third Bundesliga title in a row with a 2-0 victory over Mainz.
The German star came through for his team when they needed him the most as he scored a goal in the championship game.
Schweinsteiger may be with Bayern Munich for another season since his contract will expire in 2016.
Man United manager Louis van Gaal has expressed interest in getting Schweinsteiger to join his squad, as they are looking to bolster their midfielder depth.
